Lesley is a highly qualified Educational consultant in industry with considerable experience in research in the Australian Vocational Education and Training sector who owns and runs her own Nationally accredited Registered Training Organisation. Lesley has a comprehensive list of career experiences including teaching, lecturing, research, consulting, resource development and project management. Lesley is currently Director of the business providing management, project consultancy and research services to clients, especially complex industries such as Mining.
Management
Lesley has managed a staff of over 50 in her own business that has a wide range of contracts with government, industry and private clients. The programs delivered range from training delivery across Queensland jails, work in remote Indigenous communities, delivery to Government Departments and Industry Organisations. Lesley’s expertise lies in developing facilitative management practices that enable others to carry out their responsibilities and involve all concerned in the decision making process.
Training
In the early 1990’s Lesley became actively involved in adult vocational education, and began designing and developing competencies and training modules. She has designed and delivered training in adult literacy and numeracy skills, cultural awareness, strategic management skills, contractor safety management and professional development for trainers. She has developed assessment systems/resources for a range of industries.

Since 2000 Lesley has been heavily involved in National research projects in the vocational training sector that include strategic management, assessment practices and professional development for training professionals. In 2007 Lesley won National Mining Trade Excellence Teacher.
